Validation Samples:

As a leading supplier of medical device polymers, Medi-Solve can coat your validation samples in our state-of-the-art R&D facility.  We will provide documentation that complies with our Quality Control System requirements and offers full traceability for our customers.  Samples are shipped with a Certificate of Compliance or Certificate of Analysis.

Clinical Trials:

Should your device require a clinical trial, Medi-Solve Coatings can coat them in our Class 7, HEPA filtered, controlled environment.  These samples will come with complete documentation and properly trained personnel, using well-maintained and calibrated equipment, will perform the coating. We can also provide biocompatibility testing for medical devices.

Small Scale Manufacturing:

On new projects we realize the importance for meeting launch dates.  Until a solid market can be developed, limiting investments in capital equipment can be essential.  For these reasons, Medi-Solve Coatings has invested in a small scale manufacturing line to help our customers get up and running.  Manufacturing can range from a Formulate and Fill operation to applying of the coating to a finished device.   Recently we’ve developed the capability of applying silicone fluid onto catheters or packaging materials, such as a guidewire hoop.

Plasma Treatment:

Medi-Solve Coatings has its own in-house RF plasma capability enabling sample cleaning, surface modification or plasma surface treating prior to coating application.  RF plasma is a powerful tool in many coating operations and can enable coating of many difficult materials like polyolefins, polyimides and polyamides.  Having this in-house capability allows us to modify the plasma cycle to best match your material, provide a quick turn around and ensure that the plasma treatment is at optimal activity level prior to application of the coating.
